Ripon MP, Louise Staley said the Andrews Government needed to do more.

“Under Daniel Andrews police are under resourced and violent offenders are being let back on the street under a broken judicial system”. MS Staley said

Opposition Leader Matthew Guy said these crime statistics on violent offences reflect the revolving door of soft justice and sentencing under Daniel Andrews.

“Daniel Andrews can’t fix the violent crime rate by continuing to give repeat violent offenders multiple chances before sending them to jail.” Mr Guy said.
