Daniel Andrews’ careless regard for law and order continues to put residents in Ripon at risk.
Crime has continued to rise across the following local Government areas:
City of Ballarat had 11,594 offences recorded by police in the most recent quarter up 13.43% since the election of the Andrews Government in 2014.
Central Goldfields Shire, had 1,455 offences rising 32.5% since 2014.
Ararat Council saw 1289 offences, a 22.53% on the 2014 figures.
Northern Grampians Shire recorded 1,054 offences up 12.6% since 2014.
Hepburn Shire had 887 offences a jump of 43.3% since 2014.
Pyrenees Shire resulted in 530 offences being recorded an increase of 17.26% since 2014.
The Andrews Government needed to do more.
These results are more than statistics, thousands of Ripon families were victimised because of the Andrews Governments inability to combat rising crime.
Our police work hard, but they are sick and tired of catching the same offenders, we need to fix our justice system and toughen up bail to stop these monsters from getting back on our streets.
The Liberals have a plan that includes introducing mandatory minimum sentences, abolishing concurrent sentences for violent offenders on parole, a 3-point plan to toughen bail and a Sex Offenders Public Register and re-opening the police stations that Daniel Andrews closed.
