Member for Ripon Louise Staley has criticized the Andrews Government after it failed to include a badly needed new primary School in Lucas in its list of new schools to be built over the next two years
A new Primary School in Lucas continues to linger on the bottom of the Andrews Governments priorities as it missed out on being named among the 15 new schools that they will commence construction on.
Ms Staley said Lucas is Ballarat’s fastest growing area and it is extremely disappointing that the Daniel Andrews continues to neglect it.
“The lack of a Primary School in Lucas is leading to overcrowding in neighbouring schools, Daniel Andrews needs to wake up and fast track this project”. Ms Staley said.
“Prior to last year’s State Election the Liberal Party had promised to build a new Primary School in Lucas, we remain committed to that promise”.
“Last year I was inundated with local families calling for this project, it is time the State Government gave the people of Lucas and surrounds what they want”.
“Lucas families deserve access to modern 21st century education facilities; Daniel Andrews has shown time and time again that he is not capable of delivering them”.
